Mikehelen Dream Alive Foundation is a humanitarian, not-for-profit organization that was first established in North Carolina by Mrs Franca Emezie, its founding president. The Foundation was registered officially in the United States as a 501(c)(3), Public Charity, and in Nigeria as a Non-profit. It has over the years assisted the poor and vulnerable in the US and across the globe, particularly Africa by feeding and clothing the homeless, street children, as well as empowering disadvantaged women and girls through livelihood support initiatives.
We are committed to rekindling hope in the forgotten corners of the world through interventions that catalyze actions that turn dreams into reality.
To be a global-brand in humanitarian assistance geared towards empowering the poor and vulnerable in society
As a not-for-profit organization, we are committed to efficient management of resources for the provision of selfless and life-changing support to the poor and vulnerable
Showing evidence of effective use of resources is central to our governance system. For us at the Foundation, this is the surest way of keeping support from donors active
We welcome collaborations from individuals and groups that share our vision and core values. Although we are committed to forging synergies that are meant to crystallize in improving the lots of the disadvantaged particularly the poor and vulnerable, the Foundation is extremely careful in entering into collaborations and partnerships
The president of Mikehelen Dream Alive Foundation, Mrs. Franca Emezie, has always nurtured the ambition of becoming the ladder on which the poor and vulnerable in society would use as a springboard to a more fulfilling life. She has over the years interacted with a wide spectrum of the down-trodden in the United States, Canada, Europe and Africa. Her passion for humanitarian assistance to people that need it most has always defined her subtle contribution to social order that finds expression in inclusiveness and social protection. Mrs. Emezie is transforming her most rewarding teaching experience into practical solutions to everyday existential challenges faced by the disadvantaged and hapless in relevant contexts
We present a brief profile of some of our core volunteers in the United States and Africa who are ever ready to go the extra mile with the Foundation in its quest to improve the lots of humanity
